I’ve been going crazy for peaches so far this summer. The ones I’ve been getting lately from Whole Foods have just been amazing, so juicy and flavorful.
The July/August issue of Everyday Food magazine has an easy recipe for peach crumble pie, so I decided to give it a try. It looked like just the thing that someone would’ve baked on a farm long ago in the days of yore (although it’s doubtful that someone would’ve used a leftover frozen pie crust).
I went to the farmer’s market with Brian to get some fresh, local peaches and ended up with a bunch of other stuff, too.
